Purchased stormblood on steam, need help using the code!

Heya, im merely a tad bit worried with the new expansion right around the corner and i nevertheless dont take the expansion on my business relationship technically, even though i bought stormblood 3 months ago or so when it was on steam. i did already have ff14 through steam already , and i took the code on the right side, under links where it says cd primal, i copied the pre -order edition lawmaking and tried it on the mog station website, but it says its invalid and i re-read it multiple times so im definitely not typing information technology wrong. i just dont desire to have to repay for another copy of stormblood, and my past experiences with square enix support has been really bad, then heres hoping theres an answer to my issue!
